Tim hooked the Focus up all by himself... he was pretty proud. Of course, he was under direction of the Penske guy but STILL. This car towing thing proved to be a problem...especially at our first night stop in Dalhart, Texas. You can't back up with the car in tow...it is impossible and we knew this before leaving on the trip. However, we didn't realize how small the hotel parking lot was and how impossible it was to turn around in until it was too late. So after 10 hours of driving and an hour of attempting (and succeeding thanks to Tim and Mark) to get the truck and car turned around we were pretty tired. But we did beat a MASSIVE thunderstorm by 5 minutes. If that wasn't good timing, I don't know what is.
