Fun morning this morning! We took advantage of the beautiful day (seriously, this weather...amazing!) and went to a little zoo about 15 minutes from our house. It was perfect for kids Owen's age as it was not too big or overwhelming. Owen had never been to a zoo before and he kept saying "again" when we left so I think he liked it.
Oe, grandma and grandpa:
The freaking GIANT Bengal tiger. Holy cow those things are enormous.
Watching some lemurs.
I can't remember what these things were called (alpaca??) but they were goofy looking.
Trying to get a group shot at the end. Kind of worked.
After lunch out, we came home and rode our bikes and B took the longest nap ever! Growing teeth is hard work.
Justin and I were then able to fight through our tiredness and go out to dinner for a couple of hours...by ourselves! Amazing! (Ahhh the benefit of grandparents).... Even though we seriously debated a nap in the car, it was so nice to have a couple of uninterrupted hours for each other where we didn't have to do anything. Thanks mom and dad!
