Grandpa Joe was in town this weekend and got to come with us today, which Owen was really excited about.
Our first stop was the water courtyard which was a huge hit. What kid doesn't love water? We got lucky no water was falling from the sky.
Next up, some ball funnel thing. Owen loved it. The kid loves anything with balls....
...and cars. This was in a toddler specific area and of course Owen just wanted to drive the car.
Next up was the butterfly house. Pretty cool and SO many butterflies. One tried pretty incessantly to land on Owen. It was pretty cute.
Bennett didn't care a whole lot....
Our last quick stop was through the dinosaur exhibit. Owen didn't care too much but I have a feeling that will change in a few years!

All in all it was a successful trip and well worth it! It was cool to see Owen so excited at being somewhere new, around things he'd never seen before. Guess that's what having kids is all about!
(And not about daylight savings time because seriously whoever invented that did not have kids!!)
