Daily Owen & Bennett: 6.7.2015

Sunday's first stop: Lowes! We had to get some plants for the yard and Owen of course wanted to check out the tractors.

B just thought it was cool to ride like a big boy in the cart.

And later: more toddler drama. This time because he wanted up...until he got up. Are toddlers bipolar? Why yes, yes they are.

Daily Owen & Bennett: 6.6.2015

Our morning before getting out of the house: baby and dog all over, screaming toddler. Pretty typical.

We then made it to the dog park! Whoo! All went well until a dog knocked Owen down. And by knocked I mean barely touched him and Owen flailed like the biggest drama king in the world. Heeeeelllo horrible toddler 3s. So nice to meet you. 

Later in the afternoon after naps and working in the yard and naps for both kids, we went on a little family walk. It's so nice and warm here...amazing!

Swimming day!! B was not too happy at first. We will blame tooth #8.

Owen was, of course, in heaven.

We got B a toy to chew on and his mood did a complete turn (see? Dang tooth!)

Tonight: cousins! B looks like he's up to no good and Dylan looks scared. Turns out to be very appropriate as 2.5 seconds later B bit her nose. Hard.

Today was a little nutso for some reason, so I am recycling an Owen photo I neglected to put up yesterday since I didn't take an Owen photo today. Caption: start them young!

Owen and Bennett got to play at the park for a little while today! I met up with them for a few minutes. It was fun before it started to rain again.

Waking up from nap and having brother join to cuddle: best thing ever. Also crazy how big they are both getting. Wahhhh!

Night number two of being a single mom was successful. Both kids slept, I slept... WIN.  B woke up around 6am and ate and I was up for the day, but I managed to get in a few cuddles from B before putting him back in to bed.

And of course, not too long later, he was wide awake!

We had big plans, so B got to help wake up big brother... by climbing on him!

After Owen was awake, we headed to TOUCH A TRUCK! (Aka: the truck show, per Owen). It's put on by the junior league of Seattle every year and is so cool. They bring in all different kinds of trucks that the kids can climb on... seriously BLEW Owen's mind. I took him last year but he was still a little young. This year, he was SO into it.

As we were walking out of Costco, Owen picked me "flowers." So cute.

And then I was feeling especially brave and made the trek to Costco with the kids, and they did great! It was a great day!
