Daily Owen & Bennett: 8.17.2016
Bennett is two today! Like everything with kids, it seems like both the shortest and longest time in the world all at once. I am both sad and want to relive this day two years ago over and over again, but then happy that I don't have to live through the following two years again. While most of that time was indeed happy, it is challenging. Sleep deprivation. Diapers. Illness. Tantrums. Two kids. It's just the ever perplexing contradictions that come with having kids. Things can be both short and long and happy and sad all at once.
More than anything, I'm glad this little spit fire came in to our lives. He's stubborn, funny, charming, smart and a sweet little lover all rolled in to one kid who marches to his own drum. I love our little b-lish so much. Happy 2nd sweet boy.

Daily Owen & Bennett: 8.7.2016
Helping poppy to paint for the deck today. In other words: channeling his art so there is no more lotion mishap!
Daily Owen & Bennett: 8.6.2016
Sweet little Owen showed off some artistic flair today. He decide to decorate the entire bathroom, hallway, nursery and our bedroom just by using a bottle of ketchup and no less than 6 bottles of body lotion. It was everywhere! He said he was mad we couldn't go to the park, perhaps slightly bored. B and I were gone and Owen was helping Justin on the deck. In matter of minutes, the damage was done. What a disaster.
It's pretty funny now, but was not my finest parenting moment when I saw what happened!
