Daily Owen: 9.8.2013

Owen decided to crawl around outside, monkey style, as we were unloading what was hopefully one of the last loads from our old house. He was a pretty tough nugget considering he was walking on rocks!

We got our new refrigerator today (sidenote: fiasco)... Owen decided to model.

Daily Owen: 9.6.2013

He crawled under his table. He got stuck. He screamed. Mom laughed and took a picture.

Daily Owen: 9.5.2013

Owen was feeding himself today- pretty amazing! He was stirring with the whisk then feeding himself with the fork (today, right handed). It's amazing how much he's learning these days.

He spent the morning with his new nanny, Miss Collette, who he absolutely adores. Went right to her. Poppy and mama are in fun compared to her... But we were ready to hand him off for a while after a loooong night of teething last night. Rough. And of course he took a three hour nap to make up for it, and vetoed his second nap of the day....I think we may be heading towards only one nap a day. Boo hoo!

Daily Owen: 9.4.2013

He figured out how to throw stuff away....and was so proud of himself for it.

Daily Owen: 9.3.2013

Let loose in the back of the beemer while mama stands outside and takes pictures of the monkey.

Daily Owen: 9.2.2013

IAdventures of moving: 16 hour day starting with a 6am load to the new house....Owen fell asleep for 20 min (boo on that nap). Dropped off the load, scraped popcorn ceilings, then to pick up the uhaul. Fed Owen while packing/loading and he fell asleep in high chair... I put him down for a nap and he slept for THREE hours. Never happens. A bloody miracle! It allowed us to pack the whole house without having to worry about or watch him. Then, took the GIANT load to the new house with all our "big stuff" in tow. Unloaded, then had to drive back to Kirkland to return uhaul. Stopped by house to get my car, Owen was pushing his bedtime so I took him home while Justin/Oliver loaded one more load. At around 9:30pm we sat down. Phew. We are in... Loosely, and exhausted but in! View from our new deck last night while I was putting Owen down made it all worth it.
