Daily Owen & Bennett: 9.8.2016

I had to leave the house at 6am today, so miss Collette came over while the kids slept....except someone was too excited she was coming so he was up at 5:30...

Daily Owen & Bennett: 9.7.2016

First day of preschool, year #2! He is going an extra day this year, and a long day on Fridays. He is so excited!

Bennett ate his dinner like a yogi or monk or something...hilarious!

And Owen acted like a monkey...

And in case anyone thinks potty training one kid is messy...it is WAY messier when #1 trains #2.

Daily Owen & Bennett: 9.4.2016

Owen and I went on a little hike today. I am loving having a hiking buddy, even when he is slow and points out every giant slug.

Before we left, he looked in the stove at his reflection. I said, "what are you doing bud?" He goes "looking at my butt...yep...it's cute. You ready mom?" I almost couldn't go as I almost died laughing.

Nightly shenanigans so B makes the post: living room golf!

Daily Owen & Bennett: 9.3.2016

Busy day today. First things first: tearing down the pond!

Mom and B let poppy and Owen work so we went to run some errands. One of which included getting Owen some new pants since he has grown so much. He modeled them when we got home...they are still short but if we get bigger for length, they fall off his waist:

Later: after Owen was attacked by a swarm of bees and stung 3 times (luckily no reaction...but it was tense there for a second), normalcy returned!

Doing dishes together. Translation: making a giant mess.

Trip to the doctor today for annual check ups and shots. Owen was really excited to show the doctor his new fur on his legs since "he's about ready to shave it like poppy do!"

Both kids did great with the shots and are GIANTS. Owen is 120% in height, 95% in weight. B is 98% in height, 60% in weight (which is weird because I always think of B as the chunkier between the two...) where did these big boys come from?! They are going to tower over me some day!
