The deeper we get in to the deck, the worse it gets. As with any house project...what you think is no big deal turns in to a little fix...a little fix turns in to a big fix...

Daily Owen & Bennett: 7.16.2016
So this happened today.
I asked Justin to help me with some yard work. Be careful what you wish for. After some remedial tasks (weed eating, pruning), he decided to check out a deck board that's been bothering him.
Found it to be totally rotted...which led to a trip to Home Depot for b and I at 6pm.
New drill (because project = new tool) plus boards. Boards fell out 600 times. What a riot.
Later after some of the deck chaos: dessert. Which Bennett licked off the table.

Littlest monkey rock climbing. Then older brother had to follow. Somehow that seems backwards.

This little turkey woke up at 5am today...good thing he is cute. And a super hero. Clearly.
