Our day was low key. We were all tired from yesterday. So, we had lunch with Oliver and his gf (neither pictured:fail)....
Went on a 5 mile bike ride/run (in the rain)...
Did a little hiking...
And that's about it.
Maybe we were being lazy or maybe we decided yesterday was sufficient, but we just laid low. The kids are at ages where it felt like fireworks could be hit or miss, so we just didn't push it. Plus it's not super warm out here this year, and they were already tired from yesterday....so, we called it. As I write this, it sounds like our house is being bombed and both kids are sound asleep....so, good call this year. Next year, however, I think our oldest guy will so want to be out there, so we will oblige for probably the next many years. Happy 4th!
