Owen found our empty bottle of wine sitting by the couch this morning. It got very quiet so I walked around the couch to find him sucking on the cork. A true Valente.... He doesn't look guilty at all, right?

Daily Owen: 7.4.2013
Happy July 4th! Pretty low key day around here. Owen played with a fake sparkler (my make a wish wand), then we walked into downtown Kirkland to their annual parade. The last picture below is about 2.5 seconds before a pirate float passed and blasted a "bomb" effectively freaking Owen out which meant big time tears! Whoops, parent fail. We then made up for it with a little picnic then walked home. Later we played tennis and just laid low. No fireworks for us this year, maybe once the little guy is older.
