Owen was able to fall asleep around 9pm, but woke up screaming in pain around 11pm. So at midnight, we decided to take him in. Luckily, we found out it was not broken, just sever soft tissue damage. But it still meant a VERY short night. Yawn. Happy Thanksgiving to us!
We started off the day bright and early at around 8pm. Owen, luckily, slept until 10am. He is still in a bit of pain from his foot, but realized that he could get around by crawling. Justin and I were busy prepping for the holiday while the kids ran around. Our guests showed up around 1pm.

We ate our Thanksgiving around 5pm. It turned out great. I want to say we had about 22 people at our house. The turkey was awesome thanks to Justin. All in all, it went really smooth... and thanks to coffee, Justin and I made it until 2am!

Despite a crazy week with the tree and the foot, there is so much to be thankful for. Shoot, we could have had a tree through our house or a kid in a cast... but instead, we were just a little tired. The day was so nice... great food, even better company, and so much love. Happy thanksgiving!
