This might be a little more than a "daily Owen" post but it is Christmas and who knows when I'll actually post about it otherwise.
Santa came to visit!
After a bit of a rough night with the little guy and a subsequent late wake up call, Owen found new toys from Santa! They were a big hit.
Santa also visited Justin and Oliver.
They were also spoiled by everyone else/ guess they made the nice list!
So did Owen but he liked to climb on his presents more than open them. Except for his fake dyson vacuum and drill set he got- now THOSE were winners, hands down. Too bad the vacuum doesn't work for real because after today the floors here would be spotless.

And Owen tried out his great uncles rocker- another big hit!
At the end of the evening after presents, a meal, dessert, hysterical laughter at a new game we played, we got a family shot....love them all so much!
We are truly blessed beyond measure. I keep thinking about that today...it's not the gifts, the food, or really even the traditions. The love, laughter and family are the overriding "gifts" of this season. I feel so humbled by the love of the incredible people in my life and by how amazing this life is that I am living. My hope would be that everyone could find this feeling, remember the true reason for the season, and find a way to reflect on it all year long.
