Daily Owen: 12.30.2012

We are in the mountains with a group of friends for new years. Today we went snow shoeing with Jen, Cam and their daughter Olivia. Justin is holding Olivia here while Jen and Cam got ready...to which we all had the realization that twins would be rough!

Yesterday we flew back from Kansas City. Owen again did great on the flight and even monitored people as they came on board. So cute.

Owen got to meet a lot of new buddies while in Kansas City, one of which was Jacob who is two months older than him and the son of my good friend Jill. It's too bad that all of these new friends of his don't live closer!

Today is my dad's 69th birthday. In honor of the big day, he gave Owen his first piano lesson. I think Owen was a fan... but mostly because he loves his Grandpa.

Owen on Christmas Eve eagerly anticipating his first Santa visit (or maybe he was just infatuated with the train around the tree). Either way, he had a great first Christmas and was undoubtedly spoiled.

Justin, Owen and I were Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus in my parents church's Christmas Eve service today. Owen did great and only started screaming right when the service started (HA!) He only cried for about 10 minutes though and then slept the rest of the time. Not bad considering we were on stage for an hour.

Owen got blessed at the church I grew up in today... here we are at home after the blessing. Owen stole the show with his little hat.
